Rotary Theme - "Rotarians - United in Rotary - Dedicated to Peace"

Fund raising activities for this year included "Wood Cutting" working bees, and a dinner auction.  We formed the first Probus Club in Torquay - Torquay Ladies Probus - with fifty four members.  We hosted the Missouri USA Group Study Team.  Combined meetings were held with the Rotary Clubs of Colac West, Camperdown, Geelong East, Drysdale, Grovedale and Ocean Grove.  Daniel Maughan was sponsored as our first outward exchange student. Christmas "Break up" was a spit roast picnic at Bellbrae reserve with family participation a definite highlight.
