Being the third Monday of the month, it was back to our online Teams Meeting this week.
With 22 of us tuned in – we were pleased to have Gordon Clarence, Gerard Hogan, and our Guest Speaker Past District Governor Anthony Ohlsen join us.
Amanda, in her role as Club Service Chair, is coordinating the running sheets and duty roster, for each of our meetings. Richard Hawker gave us the invocation and toast to Rotary International Monday – Thanks Richard!
Amanda is going to be looking for members to help out at our meetings with the various duties we need to fulfill.
Feel free to contact Amanda and offer your assistance – this may save her a few ‘phone calls!
November, being Foundation Month, we were very fortunate to have Past District Governor Anthony Ohlsen join us as our Guest Speaker. Anthony, being our District Foundation Chair, has a great knowledge of The Rotary Foundation and the benefits communities from all round the world receive form the Foundation – This is Rotaries Charity …..‘Our Charity’.
If you would like to make donations to Our Charity – this can be done, and donations are tax deductable, if done using the appropriate channels.
Personally – it makes me feel proud to be part of an organisation that does so much good in the world.
Thank you, Lesley for arranging Anthony to speak to us on Monday, and for chairing the evening.
If you were unable to login for last weeks meeting it was recorded and you can view it at RCT Meeting 15.11.21
On Monday we are back to Face to Face – at Kithbrooke Park, for our Annual General Meeting.

All Proxy Forms must be returned to Secretary Allan prior to the AGM.
The first Cowrie market has been cancelled for this Sunday (21st November). We received notification later Tuesday evening to say due to the weather forecast and prediction of a lot of rain on what already is a very wet area, it was best to cancel the November market. Mal sent out notification advising us all of this.
The December Cowrie Market is planned to proceed, on Sunday 19th – Mal will be calling for volunteers soon.
Jan has confirmed our night at the Trots on 3rd of December. Thanks Jan!
Registrations have now closed for this event ….. and we have been notified that the venue is ‘full’.
Please note – this meeting replaces Monday 29th of November – so no meeting for us on the 29th.
Please also remember that Apparel orders close tomorrow night and you need to have you orders to Greg Plumridge either by email or hard copy at tomorrows meeting.
See you at the AGM!
